This was a great, 4-day river trip through a beautiful Dinosaur National Monument on the Green River organized by Ann Marie from the Adaptive Sports Association (ASA) in Durango. Thanks to the accommodations made by the National Park Service and very helpful staff from Dinosaur National Monument we were able to provide an awesome outdoor experience for our veterans and the folks from ASA-Durango.
Next time you are on a river trip there say "thank you" to the staff of the Dinosaur National Monument for making this trip possible.
Trip Quotable
After a small duckie (inflatable kayak) carnage in the rapids we took a break on the next beach. Marc--our volunteer river guide--passionately explains to kayakers that they have to paddle through the rapids in order to get through them. Anthony, who just flipped his duckie, listens to him patiently and after Marc is done talking politely says "Marc, I am sorry for not paddling through this rapid. I would've paddled but my arm fell off."
