Season Passes for Powderhorn Resort

BACKGROUND CHECKS
Every volunteer with Team Powderhorn must have completed a background check through Special Olympics Colorado and/or CDA. Please ask the Head Coach for details.
TRANSPORTATION
CDA provides transportation to athletes who need assistance in getting to training sessions at Powderhorn Resort. Coaches are invited to join-in on those trips or to carpool. Colorado Discover Ability provides transportation to and from competition events.
MEALS
Coaches must lead by example and consume healthy lunches on training days. We will try to each lunches as a group. We expect both coaches and athletes to eat nutritious, adequate meals, to include a healthy breakfast prior to arriving at Powderhorn. We strongly discourage drinking sodas and eating sweets at lunch time. Instead we'll all drink water and eat fun and healthy lunches. Sports drinks are allowed as an alternative to water but "energy drinks" are NOT permitted.
